YOU

There's times I want to sit and talk
Sometimes I want alone to walk
There's times I want to be in a crowd
To hold up my head and feel so proud.

But there's times I feel like I can't go
My heart is broken, my head hangs low
I'm torn and hurt and just want out
To take my life I would not doubt.

But then there's things I love to do
Like talk forever and ever with you
You mean so much, you've touched my heart
And from this friendship I'll never part.

I don't think you realize
How important you are
And how much you've mended
A broken heart.

You have opened my eyes
A new person I am
I thank the Lord
YOU are the one I found.
